A “monopoly hat”, a tiny tea laid out for fairies to enjoy, candy as far as the eye could see, lush flowers draped over sparkling lanterns…everywhere you turned at Allison and Thom’s wedding day, there was something delightful to catch your eye. If I could choose a superpower, it would definitely be to time travel. And even without superpowers, Allison and Thom helped me feel as though I had stepped back several decades. Maybe it was Thom’s english cap, or Allison’s delicate tea length gown, but is was so easy to imagine them having stepped in from another time. Our bride and groom embodied a sense of timeless elegance, but their wedding day was also full of fun! Allison has long teased her dad that he looked like the monopoly man, and so for their big walk down the aisle, he appeared in a “monopoly hat” simply to delight his daughter – so sweet! A bobble head cake topper, candy buffet, and little fairy statues hidden throughout the beautiful centerpieces all added a sense of fun to the day.
