The sled is old and worn, and takes up precious space in our crowded prop inventory, but every so often, the perfect snowy wedding day arrives, and I dust it off and excitedly carry it outside for a few moments of glory! Cori and Jeff had the perfect winter wedding day – cold, but not too cold, snowy, but not too snowy! And that old sled was the perfect backdrop for a few pictures with our Bride Cori’s lovely wedding bouquet! Guests arrived to find a sweet hot chocolate bar (with sprinkles in the wedding colors!) to warm them up as they waited for the ceremony to begin. I knew I would love Cori’s dress, ever since our planning meeting when she told me it was tea colored, but seeing it in person was so much better! She was a gorgeous bride, thoughtful and delightful in every way…writing a sweet note for her groom, and surprising him with S’mores themed socks! Jeff was handsome in his suit (and s’mores socks!), and had a fun time getting ready, with his brothers there to keep him company and keep the mood light… there were a lot of jokes and a lot of laughter in the groom’s suite! I can’t wait to share some (lots!) of favorite moments from this beautiful, January Wedding Day…
