Why “whimsical” you say? How about a Groom with a Top Hat (yasssss!), and a Bride with the most amazing purple shoes (I’m telling you now, there are going to be a lot of shoe pictures – I couldn’t control myself in the face of such awesomeness!). How about some spooky Halloween touches, like a guestbook entitled “Handbook for the recently Departed”, and a very unique waterglobe. This day was just plain FUN! Jen and Michael are sweet and funny, relaxed and perfectly comfortable being themselves! They were surrounded by their awesome parents, an amazing Best Man and Matron of Honor, and wonderful (and well dressed!) friends, and family. Insider information – Jen and Michael also have amazing taste in bathroom flooring…I enjoyed hearing about their home renovations, and I am totally copying their bathroom floor…for real. It’s no secret that November is my favorite month for weddings. That beautiful light, the slowdown of the season, the chill in the air – it is all just perfect. After a gorgeous ceremony, we journeyed up to Skyline Drive to make the most of the beautiful day. It was crowded up there, but I appreciated the trust my bride and groom had in me, and I especially excited about how those photos turned out. Let’s go ahead and get to them, I am so excited to share some of my favorite moments from this wonderful, whimsical day…
