You know how there are certain days, where you appreciate your job even more than usual? Well, Sandy and Craig’s Wedding was one of those days for me. They are one of the nicest, coolest couples we have ever has the pleasure to work with – so down to earth and easygoing, and their stories of adventure still have me smiling and shaking my head in wonder. The Golden Horseshoe Inn hosted a wonderful Asian Fusion themed wedding this weekend and we have so many lovely details to share. The interfaith Buddhist – Jewish ceremony included lovely tributes to both faiths. So much care and attention to detail went into this celebration for Phuong and Marc – it was a day filled with Love!
Even a little rain couldn’t dampen this celebration. When the skies opened, I collected some of the rainwater from the downpour and presented it to the bride as a memento of the day and a sign of good fortune (did you know it’s lucky to have rain on your wedding day?!).

We know you’ll be eager to share your good news with friends and family. We will put up a blog post featuring your wedding within 24hrs using your best photos so you can share your happiness with your loved ones. All your high resolution photos will be mailed to you on disc following your wedding ceremony. Our location in the Swift Run Gap allows us easy access to the drive. We’ll meet you at the location of your choice between Loft Mountain and Big Meadows. If you are unfamiliar with the area, let us recommend some of our favorite spots. This package is available booked up to 4 weeks in advance or on short notice based on availability.

A perfect and inexpensive theme for a Summer Wedding. Check out the sources below for lots of great inspiration.
I love the contrast of the rough burlap and the delicate lace. This is one of my favorite wedding decor combinations. It is a simple and inexpensive look to achieve. Clear glass buffet plates (we rent these at Golden Horseshoe Inn) look charming with a paper doilie place card underneath.
Baby’s Breath is a perfect flower for this rustic theme. It is extremely inexpensive and looks lovely when displayed in a large bunch. Consider it for all of your bridesmaids and cut your floral budget way down! Garlands for your little flower girls to wear in their hair are wonderful too. Over the past several years we’ve been collecting a wonderful and eclectic assortment of props and decorations for the use of our Brides and Grooms. We’re having an Open House and you’re invited!!! Please join us at the Golden Horseshoe Inn on Saturday, October 1st from 11am – 3pm.
