Our in house photography is provided by the owner of Golden Horseshoe Weddings, Heather Tusing, who has 10 years of wedding photography experience, and has had the pleasure of shooting hundreds of weddings here at the GHI. Heather's calm, easy going personality will help you feel at ease in front of the camera, and make getting beautiful photos a breeze!

Full day photography is included in our Afternoon Tea Wedding: Full Day Photography may be ADDED ON to the Boutique Wedding package. Boutique Wedding couples may also opt to hire the outside photographer of their choice, if preferred.
Couples may add on photography at any time during the planning process although we recommend choosing your photographer prior to scheduling your onsite wedding planning meeting.

2. Engagement Session
Golden Horseshoe couples may choose to ADD ON an engagement session if they would like. Engagement sessions last one hour and may take place on the grounds of the Golden Horseshoe Inn or on nearby Skyline Drive. An engagement session is a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera ahead of your big day. Engagement sessions take place on select weekday evenings 2 hours prior to sunset during "golden hour". An engagement session includes 1 hour of shooting, 1 outfit change if desired, and delivery of 100 beautifully edited engagement portraits via a secure online gallery with print release. $350
3. photographing your wedding day
Heather will photograph your wedding day from your arrival onsite at the venue until your departure. She is intimately familiar with the venue and property and will guide you to all the very best locations for the perfect portraits. Heather will cover detail shots of your decor and reception room, getting ready time, ceremony photos, family & bridal party, couples portraits, candid reception shots, and your send off. Couples may also choose to ADD ON an additional Mountaintop photo shoot on nearby Skyline Drive if desired. This typically takes place after a first look prior to the ceremony, or following the ceremony during cocktail hour. For the Afternoon Tea wedding, the mountain photos take place directly following the send off.
4. sneak peek
Each couple is offered a complimentary sneak peek, featuring about 100 favorite photos from their wedding day, delivered via online blog post, within 72 hours of their wedding day. This is a great way to share the fun and excitement of your wedding day right away with loved ones who were not able to attend the big day in person.
5. delivery of final gallery
Your images will be beautifully edited and delivered within 3 weeks of your wedding date, via a secure, high resolution downloadable online gallery. Each couple will receive full printing rights, and may print and distribute their photos as they wish. All photos on this website are examples of Heather's work. The wedding industry standard for number of wedding photos delivered is 50-100 photos per hour of shooting. Each wedding is different of course, but most Golden Horseshoe couples receive between 600-800 photos in their finished gallery.

Full Day wedding photography may be added on to the Boutique Wedding package. Full day photography includes 1 photographer for up to 9 hours (11am - 8pm). Complimentary sneak peek 72 hours after your wedding day. Full gallery of beautifully edited images delivered via download within 3 weeks of your wedding day. *In house photography is an optional add on. Couples may instead hire the outside photographer of their choice if preferred.

Couples may add on an additional mountaintop photoshoot to their Afternoon Tea or Boutique Wedding package. Travel with our photographer to nearby Skyline Drive, only 3 miles from the venue, for an epic photoshoot with unforgettable mountain views. For Boutique Weddings this takes place prior to ceremony after a first look or during cocktail hour. For Tea Weddings, this takes place following the send off at the conclusion of the event.
Couples may choose to add on Cinematography to their wedding day to make sure the special sights and sounds are captured to replay for years to come. Any couple using our in house photography may add on our in house cinematography. Includes 6 hours of shooting by our cinematographer Stephen. Delivery of a wedding highlight film within 4-8 weeks of your wedding day. Average run time 10 - 15 minutes. Examples below!

We think a wedding Highlight Film is the perfect way to share the excitement of your special day. Long enough to capture all the best moments of the day, but short enough to easily share online and with friends and family! Most Wedding Highlight Films run about 15 minutes or so, each film varies slightly in length.

Couples are welcome to hire any vendors they wish for their big day! We aim to provide professional, affordable options for Photo and Video, but are more than happy for you to hire the outside vendors of your choice. You are welcome to set up your own still camera to record your ceremony if you wish. Any videographer who will be moving throughout the venue should be licensed and insured.

If I could rate Golden Horseshoe Inn 50 stars it still wouldn't be enough. From the planning to the day of, everything was just so effortless. Every detail, every moment, and every aspect of the entire day was, for lack of a better word, perfect. Weddings can often be stressful but that was not the case for us... we had FUN.
