Beautiful Mountain Wedding Amber and Zach 11.8.20

What happens when you mix a musically talented family, with beautiful decor, great friends, lots of love and good fun? You get Amber and Zach’s wedding day!!! This was such a fun wedding to be a part of! Like so many 2020 couples, Amber and Zach had to rethink their original wedding plans and decided on a more intimate wedding day close to their beloved Shenandoah National Park (where Zach is a Park Ranger!). Amber might be so good at wedding planning because she is a professional harp player and teacher, and has performed at many weddings over the years. Now, it was her turn to be on the other side of the aisle, as a Bride!!! She and her family planned a fantastic day with us, filled with lots of special details. Amber wore her mother’s wedding veil which was just beautiful and added a sentimental touch to her wedding attire. She also used her grandmother’s atomizer to hold her wedding day perfume and carried a handkerchief that she hand embroidered in blue thread. Guests were greeted with chilled apple cider (as the weather was INCREDIBLE – sunny and warm and nothing like we thought November 8th might be!) and were delighted to find a little jar of homemade apple butter at their place setting. Harp music (played on Amber’s own harp, by her very first harp student) drifted through the air as guests found their seats for the ceremony. Vows were presided over by Pastor Jim, who traveled all the way from Michigan to conduct Amber and Zach’s ceremony. Bible readings were shared by both the father of the groom and father of the bride, and the ceremony concluded with a beautiful performance of The Lord’s Prayer by vocalist Adriana and Harpist Abigail. A trip to the mountain allowed for Zach to be congratulated by his co workers as we made our way through the entry gates, and gave us some epic mountain wedding photos! After dinner, there were still plenty of surprises in store including the most epic choreographed father / daughter dance we have ever seen (thank goodness our Cinematographer was here to capture the incredible moves!), a S’mores station and a gorgeous sparkler send off.
