Couples do not need a liquor license unless they are selling the alcohol to their guests eg: a cash bar.  Our staff will refill your beverage tubs as needed, but do not serve the alcohol - guests may self-serve, or couples may hire a bartender through their caterer if desired. We have a cute bar to display your wine.

Couples are welcome to provide their own alcohol. We will provide wine glasses, champagne flutes, bottle openers, beverage tubs, and ice. (Most of our couples find that buying their own alcohol at Sam's club or Costco etc, is much more affordable than purchasing it through their caterer).  Beer, Wine and Champagne  are permitted. No hard liquor. Elopement and Tea and Cake weddings do not include alcohol beyond a champagne toast.

Yes! You are welcome to use your own officiant or minister if you prefer. (An on-site officiant is included in your package.) We do not offer a price reduction should you choose to bring your own officiant, but we will welcome them to the venue and make sure to answer any questions they have!

You can check out our AVAILABLE DATES at any time to find the perfect one for you. Dates are booked on a first come first served basis. Due to the number of couples interested in a Golden Horseshoe Wedding, we are sorry that we are not able to "hold" dates.

Up to 60 guests Maximum. This includes members of your wedding party (excluding wedding couple). Babies in arms under age 1 are not counted in your guest count. Ages 1 and over are included in your guest count.

Linens are included in your package. Our table cloths are floor length white/ivory polyester. Boutique and Golden Horseshoe packages include your choice of  56 colors of  Napkins and Overlays or Runners. Ironing and Set up are also included in your package!  Most couples choose their colors from our samples during their onsite planning meeting.

The Boutique Wedding and Golden Horseshoe Wedding include Friday drop off appointments (10am or 5pm). The drop off appointment allows you to unload decor, attire, alcohol and decor items prior to your wedding day. Perishable items such as live flowers must be brought on the wedding day itself.

can we drop things off ahead of time?

Yes! We have a wonderful PROP INVENTORY for our couples to borrow for no additional charge. Couples are also welcome to provide their own decorations.

Couples may choose any caterer they wish. Drop off packages (where the caterer drops off food ready to serve, but does not stay onsite) are allowed. Self catering or pot luck style are not allowed. You can see our suggestions for local caterers HERE

Boutique and Golden Horseshoe Wedding packages include: Lemonade, Sweet Tea, Coffee, Ice Water, Sparkling Apple Cider for the toast, Wedding cake, and light fare for cocktail hour including: Veggie & Dip Tray, Seasonal Fruit Tray, Cheese & Grapes Tray,  Mini Pastry selection.
Wednesday Elopement and Tea and Cake wedding include non-alcoholic drinks and wedding cake only.

A $500 non refundable retainer is required to secure your date. This is counted as your first wedding payment. Additional payments of $500 are due at the 12 month, 6 month and 3 month mark prior to your wedding date.  Your final remaining balance is due 3 weeks prior to your wedding date.  All payments are non refundable.

The first floor and wedding deck are handicapped accessible. The second floor suites are not due to the historic nature of the building.

Yes!  Golden Horseshoe couples can choose from a variety of Cake flavors, filling flavors, icing flavors and design styles.  A cake tasting appointment is not included in our package to keep things simple and keep costs as low as possible for you.  You can read all about your cake choices HERE
The Wednesday Elopement and Tea and Cake wedding include a vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream icing.

can we personalize our wedding cake?

Yes.  Our floral package is perfect for a couple who wants pretty flowers, in a specific color scheme.  Most couples give us their likes and dislikes (eg: I love Hydrangea, please don't include any lilies) and their color scheme - eg: White / Ivory /Blush with some greenery. And our florist takes it from there.  Couples who prefer a more hands on approach can decline our floral package (we'll refund it from your bill) and provide their own!
