Delicate pine cones carefully collected from countless hikes (and one even found on the beach after a storm!) graced each table, and boughs of evergreen brought touches of the peaceful woods inside. Rain gently fell and a cool mountain mist swirled outside mixing with the fall colors in a way that made you all at once awed by nature and happy to be cozy inside and warmed by the love of the day. Sharon and Karen had waited so long for their wedding, and soaked up each minute, surrounded by the happy glow of their family and friends. Their love story began with emails and letters and so it was especially meaningful that each of our beautiful brides sealed their wedding vows with beautifully heartfelt and hand written words. We loved every moment we got to spend with Sharon and Karen, and adored their beautiful color scheme which they called “chocolate, vanilla and rust” <3 We didn’t make it to the mountaintop for photos, but we already have plans to meet on their 1st anniversary, and I daresay they might find another pine cone to add to their collection. Here are a just a few of our favorite moments from this long awaited wedding day..
