Blue Ridge Wedding Venue Petra & Jody 10.23.21

Saturday, October 23, 2021 was a truly wonderful day at the Golden Horseshoe Inn! We had the pleasure of working with our stunning bride Petra and her handsome groom Jody to plan and bring to life a cozy, autumn wedding day! The weather was cool, the apple cider was hot, and the leaves were fluttering from the trees in the most picture perfect, storybook fashion. Petra and Jody made their wedding morning special and low stress, by deciding on a “first look” and trip to Skyline Drive for mountain photos prior to guests arriving at the venue. Our sweet bride and groom preferred to share their special handwritten vows in private, and so we found an out of the way little forest path which was the perfect place for a vow exchange. Jody and Petra booked their wedding day with us 15 months in advance (which is why they got such an incredible October date during peak leaf change! yay!), but about 6 months ago they got some very special news, and their family is set to grow in the new year! We were so excited to share in their amazing news, and this of course called for a few fun maternity style photos in addition to their wedding photos. We were so blessed to get to know this truly lovely couple, and their friends and family. I am so excited to share some favorite moments from this fairytale October wedding day…
