Gorgeous Virginia Winter Wedding Zaysha & Kalanu 12.10.22

This was the most joyful and spectacular wedding day, filled with the most joyful and spectacular people. We enjoyed every moment of Zaysha and Kalanu’s gorgeous winter wedding day at the Golden Horseshoe Inn. Zaysha was absolutely stunning in her gorgeous custom JUMPSUIT!!!! Oh. my. goodness. it was fabulous… and even more special because it was customized by her mother. It featured a detachable skirt (actually TWO separate detachable skirts…a dramatic longer one for the beginning of the day, and a fun shorter one for the reception…obsessed!) Our groom Kalanu looked so handsome, he chose to dress in the traditional wedding attire of his family’s culture. A lovely first look was shared by the couple so that we could take advantage of the soft winter afternoon light for some mountain photos. Upon our return, the fireplaces kept us cozy, and the hot chocolate station warmed our guests, before the intimate indoor ceremony began. The day was surprisingly warm (no wind!), and we were able to take wonderful photos outside (I love using our big evergreen tree as a backdrop for winter wedding photos 🙂 before enjoying dinner and dancing.
