Katya Senior Portrait Session

So many adjectives bounce around in my mind to describe Katya! I have had the pleasure of her acquaintance for many years now, as she and my daughter have attended the same performing arts dance school. Katya is such a polished young lady, well spoken and confident and always kind and thougthtful. She is a hard worker who helps with her family business and also earns straight A’s at school. I have taken her acting / dancing headshots for a few years now, and we have always joked about looking forward to doing her senior photos together, and it always seemed so far away in the future…yet time flies and here we suddenly are. Katya knew she would like her photos taken in an open field with wildflowers, and we settled on heading to Liberty Mills farm for one of their wildflower picking nights. It was perfectly beautiful, and although I had never photographed there before, we found so many pretty spots and the owners were so helpful and supportive (we even got a private tour of some of the more far flung spots on the property at the end of our shoot!) It was a joy, as always, to spend time with Katya and hear about her special plans for senior year and her dreams for what comes next. I have no doubt she will make them all come true!
