The air had that special November glimmer that is so hard to describe.  A day filled with golden light caught under a clear blue sky, and the hidden landscapes of the mountains being revealed as the leaves fall away.

November is my favorite wedding month.  Slow, and thoughtful, a little pause between the business of October and the rush of the holidays.  It is the perfect month for finding warmth, and cherishing light, for pulling your loved ones a little closer.

When Christopher and Danielle and their beautiful children came through the door on their wedding day, the sight of such a lovely group made me smile.  We are so lucky to share such special moments with our couples, and their families.  We are witness to their efforts, and their stories, and the new path forward being created on their wedding day.  We know, without them telling us, all the planning and thought behind the beautiful event, even if it is small, and even if simplicity is the goal, there are details that have been lovingly thought out, time carved out from everyone’s busy schedule, beautiful clothes chosen and flowers picked out.  All these gorgeous details were evident on Danielle and Christopher’s wedding day, and it was a joy and pleasure to capture these special moments for them.  Enjoy a little sneak peek from this perfect November wedding day…
