We had the pleasure of hosting a very special wedding day for Christianne and Gabriel on November 19, 2022. It was a lovely, clear and chilly late autumn day, and the blue sky made everything sparkle. Inside, the Inn was as cozy as it could be. Hot cider simmered, the fireplaces crackled, and warm tones of red and soft ivory beckoned guests to relax and enjoy all the festivities to come. Our bride and groom shared a first look on the front porch and then traveled with me to Skyline Drive, where the wind blew Christianne’s veil in the most wonderful way, and she looked like a movie star perched on the rock wall, with the majestic blue ridge mountains rolling out before her. Her handsome groom Gabriel was a natural in front of the camera and we had the best time on our mountain adventure! Back at the Inn, we celebrated a cozy indoor ceremony, officiated by Christianne’s brother Ian. Photos, snacks (aren’t the handmade custom cookies provided by the groom’s sister just exquisite!) and cocktails were followed by a dinner catered by Mission BBQ. And our newlyweds danced the night away before they were sent off into the night, through the magical glow of sparklers.
