Virginia Intimate Wedding Margo & Brett 10.2.22

Margo and Brett were married in a beautiful wedding ceremony at the Golden Horseshoe Inn on October 2, 2022! We loved sharing in all the joy, beauty and laughter of the day. Our bride and groom, like so many other couples up and down the East Coast this weekend, did not let the remnants of Hurricane Ian dampen their spirits, even if it dampened the weather outside. The venue was aglow with lights twinkling in the windows, and filled with the smell of spiced cider as guests arrived to celebrate with us. A charming indoor ceremony included personal vows shared by both Margo and Brett, and a unity ceremony featuring the mixing of sand and soil, brought from the places where our couple grew up. A little break in the rain let us take some photos on the grounds, and for the rest we gathered merrily under the cover of the porch. A lovely dinner was followed by toasts, cake, dancing and glow sticks, and we ended the day with a sparkler send off (again, the rain let up just in perfect time!).
