Virginia Micro Wedding Anthony & Casey 3.9.24

While a rainy wedding day is not usually what anyone hopes for, this was truly a magical day where lots of dreams came true, and where love reigned (see what I did there) supreme. We were incredibly honored to host Anthony and Casey’s gorgeous wedding day. Their color scheme of dusty blue and ivory with little touches of green was so perfect for a wedding day that felt like it was ushering in Spring. To say that Casey was a stunning bride could barely scratch the surface of how ethereal she looked. And her handsome groom Anthony was so dapper in his wedding attire. This day was filled with special moments such as embroidered handkerchiefs and ties for the parents of both bride and groom. As well as special gifts for the close friends and flower girls of the couple. Casey spent months scouring thrift stores for a curated collection of special mugs, and a “choose your own mug” favor station was the hit of the day. It was such fun to see the guests choosing and cherishing their wedding favors. A lovely indoor ceremony was conducted by the couple’s Pastor, and was followed by photos on the porch (it’s amazing what we can accomplish on the covered porch when it is raining!). After light refreshments, cake and toasts, the guests enjoyed special time to visit and mingle. And after our sparkler send off I went to find our bride and groom, and what do you know, I spied them sharing a special dance for just the two of them in the now empty reception room – what a sweet and special moment.
