Virginia Wedding Venue Jaclynn and Katherine 5.19.24

We shared the most beautiful wedding day with our lovely brides Jaclynn and Katherine. Their mid May wedding day was awash in shades of lavender and sage and had the most perfect springtime vibes. We’ve enjoyed working with this sweet couple for the past year to plan a very special day, and what a delight to watch all the plans come to life. Jaclynn and Katherine added so many thoughtful and heartfelt touches to their wedding day. Some of my favorites included nods to their love story sprinkled throughout the event including Bold Rock cider which played a part in their first date, a personalized note for each guest waiting on their dinner plate, a colorful candy buffet and lawn games which guests enjoyed after dinner. We were so happy the weather gradually cleared throughout the morning. It seems we actually watched it clear, from a little forest glen on Skyline Drive where we retreated to do photos when our chosen overlook was too foggy. The light gradually changed (it was magical!) until the fog burned away and the sun shone out through the branches. We got some wonderful photos and then headed back to the venue for touch up’s before the ceremony began. A very sweet outdoor ceremony was followed by photos, lawn games a delicious dinner and chocolate cake! This day was incredible from beginning to end and I am so excited to share a little sneak peek of some favorite images from Jaclynn and Katherine’s Blue Ridge mountains wedding day…
