Wintry Virginia Wedding Brittany & Matt 3.12.22

If Brittany and Matt’s wedding day had an unofficial theme, it could have potentially been “cold hands, warm hearts”. These newlyweds will always have the bragging rights to say that they were married in an honest to goodness actual blizzard. But despite the many challenges the severe weather provided, I think love won the day in the end. A cozy indoor ceremony was followed by a lively cocktail hour, and a chance for Matt and Brittany to take some mountain photos (not AT ALL in the way we had planned…the actual mountain was closed due to weather, but they were staying at a nearby mountain cabin with breathtaking views…so we embraced the day we were given, and took photos there instead and they are gorgeous!) and some more snowy photos back at the venue. Brittany and Matt also exchanged their private vows under the bows of a sweeping pine tree. Dinner was followed by cake, dancing (including a “dollar dance!”) and special time together before the sparkler send off that concluded the festivities.
