A little Virginia wedding with big heart – Renee and Craig 8.4.19

For three years in a row, my best friend and I gave each other the exact same Christmas gift without knowing! It is one of my favorite memories. So my heart swelled about 50 sizes when, after their first look, eyes still glistening with happy tears, Renee and Craig explained to me that they had unknowingly written each other the exact same love letter. They had written the letters to exchange just before their wedding ceremony began. It seems their two hearts beat as one, and the love letters mirrored each other perfectly too! This was just the beginning of a very wonderful day! Craig and Renee chose a sweet summer color palette of ivory, peach-apricot and green. A lot of times during wedding planning, I often talk with our couples about how a “guest favor” placed on each plate can sometimes pull all the colors of the wedding together. This was definitely the case with the gorgeous box of cookies (tied with a sage green ribbon) that welcomed each guest on their dinner plate – it just tied everything together in the most charming and beautiful way! This truly was a little wedding (18 guests!) with VERY BIG heart! I loved meeting the families of both the bride and groom. I also loved the special touches that Renee and Craig dreamed up for their big day…a prosecco bar with special garnishes, a beautiful guest book print for guests to sign, a personalized hanger for Renee’s beautiful gown…there were special little touches everywhere you looked. I am so excited to share some of my favorite moments from this truly romantic wedding day…
