Alison & Joshua Paramount Theatre Charlottesville Engagement Session

Do you want to hear the cutest engagement story ever? Oh good! I loved getting the chance to spend time with our sweet bride-to-be Alison and her fiance Joshua. Alison and Joshua specially requested an engagement session at the Paramount Theatre on the Charlottesville Downtown Mall. It’s where they had gotten engaged, and Joshua went to great lengths to make it an unforgettable day for Alison. Alison’s favorite movie is “The Sound of Music”, so when the Paramount was having a showing, Joshua purchased two prime seats (and also all the seats around them) and during the wedding scene, he PROPOSED!!! I KNOW!!!! A top tier engagement! For their engagement portraits, our sweet couple arranged for the marquee at the theatre to be personalized which was such a fun touch. I could tell you about the severe thunderstorm warning that day, or the tornado watch, or the HUMIDITY (lord, the humidity!) but in the end I know that all I’ll remember about this photo session is how much fun we had, how the rain cleared at the exact start time of our session, and how beautiful and excited Alison and Joshua were. I’ll also remember the sweet folks at Sal’s Cafe Italia (next door to the theatre) who saw us taking enagement pics and popped a bottle of champange for our couple – soooo sweet and thoughtful!!! We can’t wait to host Alison and Joshua’s wedding day later this summer.
