Blue Ridge Mountains Wedding Catie and Abe 6.19.21

The pure joy in the smiles you are about to see, represent everything this wedding day was about! So much happiness, so much fun, so much beauty! Laughter between friends, special moments shared with family – everywhere I turned with my camera, there was joyful celebration taking place. What an incredible way to spend the day! We were delighted that we were chosen to host Catie and Abe’s magical summer wedding day. Our bride and groom chose an elegant and gorgeous color palette of lavender, eggplant and touches of light blue, and the venue looked AMAZING!!! It was a truly beautiful reception room, and the perfect summer wedding palette. Guests were delighted to be greeted with pink lemonade, to choose their own succulent favor, to be seated at their tables bedecked in greenery and lanterns, and to step outside for a gorgeous fresh air ceremony on the wedding deck. Just prior to the ceremony, Catie and Abe shared a really sweet “first look” and took some time to journey up to the mountaintop with me for a private photo shoot! When we returned, they had time to rest and touch up their wedding looks, before the ceremony began. We had LOTS of fun with photos after the ceremony, especially with their large wedding party, who were so much fun and happy to go along with my photo suggestions (thanks guys!). After a delicious dinner provided by Mission BBQ, there were some lovely toasts, very sweet first dances, a S’mores station and lots of time for guests and family to spend together.
