Leila and Michael were married on the last weekend of summer at the Golden Horseshoe Inn. What a beautiful way to end a beautiful season! Lee looked simply stunning in her custom designed tea length gown, which was hand painted with delicate aqua flowers. Michael was equally dashing in his tuxedo, and I had such a wonderful time photographing this stunning pair. Lee and Mike chose a very unique color scheme for their wedding day – inspired by Water and Wine. Guests entered a reception room that was clad in aqua and burgundy – simple, beautiful and very elegant! A lovely outdoor ceremony was conducted by a friend of the family, Reverend Charlotte, and featured lovely readings given by close family. Guests dined on a wonderful meal prepared by Blue Ridge cafe, and then the REAL FUN started…I think during our planning meeting, Lee and Mike may have casually mentioned that they enjoyed swing dancing, but let me say that I was not prepared for their incredible dancing. A very sweet first dance, and father daughter dance was followed by the most amazing “let’s get this party started” dance by our bride and groom. Leila’s skirt swished perfectly as her new husband twirled her around and around the dance floor. It was so much fun for all the guests to see! I am very excited to share some favorite images from this fantastic September wedding day…
Congratulations to the happy couple!
