Christmastime Virginia Elopement – Mayra and Ashley 12.21.19

Mayra and Ashley were married at the Golden Horseshoe Inn in a sweet and emotional December elopement and it was simply the most wonderful way to wrap up our 2019 wedding season! This sweet mountain elopement package featured red roses, stargazer lilies, heartfelt letters to one another and a very special pup named Oliver! Mayra and Ashley are high school sweethearts, and it was so delightful to get to know them and spend such a special day with them! I thoroughly enjoyed setting up a sweethearts table with little hints of their personalities and nods to their love of travel and adventure! And with two gorgeous brides and their adorable chihuahua Oliver, pictures were SO MUCH fun!!! My favorite moment of the day was definitely watching the wedding processional and seeing the love that lit up the faces of each of our brides and she saw her wife-to-be for the first time. A very personalized ceremony was followed by the reading of sweet wedding day love letters, a puppy photo shoot and cake and champagne! It was all so beautiful and such an honor to be a part of! We are so excited Ashley and Mayra asked us to film a wedding video for them, and can’t wait to see their wedding day story come alive on film!
