Farhana and Rajarshi Virginia Micro Wedding 2.14.26

Valentine’s day is pretty wonderful on its own, but getting to celebrate Valentine’s day at a gorgeous wedding…well it’s a whole new level of special! We were so honored and grateful to have the chance to host our beautiful bride Farhana and her handsome groom Raj on their wedding day. This was a celebration which drew friends from near and far (with guests traveling from as far as Germany!). I loved all of the beautiful details our sweet couple chose…from the colorful apple red table linens, to the handmade flower garlands exchanged during the ceremony, to the special traditions incorporated into the day. After a ceremony that combined joyful humor, sweet romance and lovely traditon, a wonderful lunch was enjoyed, and then the assembled guests settled in for a competitive trivia game with special prizes awarded for the winning team. Friends performed a traditional Indian dance and the reception that followed offered time to socialize before concluding the event with a sparkler send off. I truly had so much fun photographing this wedding day, there was beauty everywhere I turned, but nowhere moreso than the lovely bride and groom themselves. They were resplendent in their traditional wedding attire, and so kind and easy to work with.
