Intimate Virginia Wedding Alison and Richard 9.4.21

We had the delight of hosting a beautiful late summer wedding day for Alison and Richard. We loved working with this sweet couple to plan a magical day for them, and their beloved friends and family. Our bride and groom chose a rich color scheme of navy blue and gold, just perfect for September. Gold votives flickered on each table, and tiny jars of honey awaited each guest at their place setting. Outside, guests were greeted with sweet tea on the porch, and the fun of a polaroid guest book just inside the door. Alison and Richard spent the morning preparing with their bridal parties, and then shared a lovely “first look” on the porch, before going on a special pre-wedding adventure to Skyline Drive where we were blessed with a beautiful blue sky, and a mass of wild flowers for the most stunning mountain top photos! The outdoor wedding ceremony was so beautiful, and when Richard began his personal vows by calling step daughter Tamila to the altar, and sharing personal vows with her as well, there wasn’t a dry eye amongst the gathered guests. An amazing cocktail hour featured passed hors d’oeuvres from The Pampa’s Fox catering, a candy buffet and open bar. Dinner was an elegant plated meal, followed by wedding cake and a delightful dessert bar. The newlyweds were honored with some wonderful toasts, and then danced the night away until it was time for their sparkler send off.
