Virginia Mountain Wedding Stephanie and Dan 9.5.21

We spend the most wonderful day making incredible memories on Stephanie and Dan’s wedding day. This adventurous couple dreamed of eloping in the mountains and they (and all their guests!) traveled all the way from Chicago to make it happen!!! We were so honored to host this special day, and to share our little piece of blue ridge mountains heaven with this wonderful bride and groom. Stephanie and Dan each wrote beautiful personal vows to share during their ceremony. And family members shared special readings as well, honoring Stephanie and Dan’s love and reverence for nature and all of its beauty. We spent time taking some gorgeous portraits on the grounds of the venue, and then cooled down inside with cake and champagne and a lovely toast from the mother of the bride. Stephanie and Dan also spent time with our cinematographer Stephen, and he is already hard at work on a lovely wedding film for them – I can’t wait to see the final result! Our biggest adventure of the day was saved for last…a trip to Skyline Drive for some epic mountain top photos. Stephanie and Dan were up for anything, and are one of the best pair of “dippers” I’ve ever met 🙂 You’ll get to see their “dip” shot below – it is beautiful!
