An Afternoon Tea wedding inspired by “Bridgerton” and Jane Austen….sign me up!!! I just adored our bride Sarah from the moment I met her. We seem to share the same aesthetic, and I was so excited about all of her ideas and all the elegant details she pulled together for her wedding day! Her gorgeous gown was handmade for her by a seamstress on etsy. It was made with an empire waist (my favorite!) in a swiss dot fabric (also my favorite!) and Sarah looked simply stunning it in! And can we talk about her shoes…thank goodness I have self control or I would have run away with them. They were just exquisite…maybe my favorite wedding shoes EVER!!! You’ll get to see about a million pictures of them below 🙂 David arrived a little later on in the day, and I loved his good humor, and efficient getting ready process. He shared some special time ahead of the wedding ceremony with some of his dearest childhood friends (some friends since grade school!) and his lovely daughters helped make sure he was all ready for the big event! Just before the ceremony began, Sarah shared a lovely first look with her daughter and son, who were waiting to walk her down the aisle and I was moved seeing the admiration and love they had for their mom – a truly wonderful family! A very sweet outdoor ceremony was followed by photos on the grounds and a wonderful indoor reception. Guests enjoyed light refreshments, chocolate wedding cake and beautiful speeches were given in the couple’s honor. After a festive bubble send off, Sarah and David and I headed to Skyline Drive (where our bride and groom were spending the weekend camping with their family) for some final epic photos to commemorate their wonderful wedding day. I am so excited to share some favorite images from this truly beautiful wedding day…
Congratulations to the happy couple!
