MEET heather

Sarah and Christopher had big plans for their wedding day… a worldwide pandemic was definitely not part of those plans.  So, with the current events sweeping our nation, this amazing couple had to get creative.  Sarah and Christopher are one of our sweetest and most no-fuss couples of 2020.  We loved the way they placed their trust in us, and their wry sense of humor…when they emailed back the finalized ceremony script, their note said “please see the attached document pertaining to our love”  🙂 We had loved working with them during their very fun planning meeting, and after just a handful of emails these two were ready for their big day.   Instead, we found ourselves celebrating in a quiet, beautiful and much simpler way.  Our beautiful bride and handsome groom decided they still wanted to be married on their original date, and are working out plans to return to celebrate with family and friends a year from now for their anniversary!  Sarah and Christopher were each driven to the venue by friends, so that they could still have a “first look” (which you’ll get to see below!).  After their licence signing, Sarah and Christopher added on a mini photo shoot, so they could share some special photos of their experience with family and friends.  I’m so excited to give you a peek into this very sweet wedding day…

This older couple was passing by our photo shoot and were just delighted to come across a bride and groom!  They shared their own secrets to a long and happy marriage with the newlyweds!

This was the sweet “first look” our bride and groom shared, before their ceremony began (friends drove each of them to the venue separately so they could still have that lovely moment of the first look together!)

And honestly, how can you ever prove you got married during a pandemic if you don’t do some themed photos?
