Although it was not the day they had originally planned, it was the most magical day nonetheless! A beautiful bride, her handsome groom, their loving family and a day that ended with a “wedding parade”! Brides and Grooms and families are having to make such tough decisions right now about their wedding days. Kayla and Roberto had been working with us for many months planning a grand affair, but when faced with the thought of postponing or going ahead with a smaller event…they told me “we just really want to be married!”. So our plans were scaled down and a wonderful, and intimate day awaited. Kayla and Roberto chose a color scheme of Ivory and Plum…perfect for a late spring wedding. Lacy touches on their sweethearts table were echoed in the intricate pattern on Kayla’s gorgeous gown. A wonderful family pastor…Pastor TJ officiated for Kayla and Roberto, and gave a most heart warming ceremony, full of references to Kayla and Roberto’s favorite place in the world – Disney! The day was just the most perfect temperature, and soft clouds gave us the most beautiful light for wedding portraits. Photos were followed by cake and champagne and the sweetest special dances between bride and groom, father and daughter and Roberto and his grandmother. We are so excited for all the wonderful things (including hopefully a trip to Disney!) that await Roberto and Kayla in their new life together as husband and wife. I am so excited to share some favorite moments from this fairy tale Virginia elopement…
Congratulations to the newlyweds!!! From the GHI family!
