Romantic Virginia Wedding McKenzie & Amanda 11.1.20

We were overjoyed to help Amanda and McKenzie plan and celebrate their beautiful November wedding day at the Golden Horseshoe Inn. Their dark purple and champagne color scheme was the perfect mix of rich fall color with a little shimmer! I had the best time ever photographing them on their wedding day. Both of our beautiful brides have incredible personal style, and their “first look” even brought their wedding party to tears at the sight of this amazing couple. We loved getting to know each bride’s family a little during the day and appreciated their amazing wedding party of Bridesmen – Cody, Kevin and Spencer and Bridesmaids – Shaylee and Cheyenne! We took a quick (and verrrrrry windy!!!) trip to Skyline Drive for mountain photos before the ceremony. I can’t tell you what an amazing job McKenzie and Amanda did, dealing with really strong wind while still looking like they didn’t have a care in the world! Their beautiful outdoor wedding ceremony featured hand written personal vows and concluded with a joyful dance down the aisle! Each guest was gifted a beautiful personalized tumbler lovingly created by McKenzie’s mom and a tiny hand sanitizer and mask also awaited each guest at their table. A charming afternoon tea was followed by red velvet wedding cake – a true southern delight! And our sweet couple was sent off in a cloud of bubbles at the conclusion of their big day.
