September Virginia Wedding Alex & Chris 9.10.22

We celebrated the most wonderful wedding day with our lovely Bride Alex and her sweet groom Chris! Everything was truly lovely and you’ll have trouble believing we planned it all in less than two months! Their light and airy color scheme of ivory, green and pale peach was truly beautiful, and so fun to see reflected in the special details around the venue (including several nods to their beloved pup Moose!). Our couple shared a private first look and then took an adventure with us to the mountain top where we visited some of my favorite places to take photos and get footage for their wedding highlight film! When rain threatened just before the ceremony, we made a quick decision to move things inside, and we can’t commend Alex and Chris more for their calm decision making and incredible positive attitudes! A beautiful ceremony was followed by photos with friends and family, before the assembled guests sat down to a wonderful dinner courtesy of Deep Run Roadhouse. Special toasts and dances were followed by cake and s’mores (yay!) and although the rain dampened our plans for a big sparkler send off, we had a mini one for just the bride and groom instead! It was an incredible honor to take these photos, and I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful or kinder couple. I am so excited to share a little sneak peek from this gorgeous wedding day…
