The gift was carefully lifted from it’s gift bag, and together, our beautiful bride and her adoring groom began the task of unfolding it. Layer after layer was unfurled, to finally reveal a handmade work of art – a wedding quilt for their bed. Created by talented and loving hands, a group effort to (both figuratively and literally) cover our couple in love. It was the perfect metaphor for this entire wedding day. The stitching together of different people, from near and far, all uniting for one very special purpose – the wedding of Rebecca and Tim. Our amazing bride Rebecca, planned long distance and with the love and support of her 4 sisters and her mom, who also served as her bridesmaids. They helped create beautiful centerpieces, and kept loving and watchful eyes on their youngest sister, making sure her day was a dream come true. Over in the groom’s suite, there was also lots of love. In the way Tim told me how he felt about Rebecca, and the way he explained that his best man had a heart bigger than anyone he’s known. Everywhere I looked, there were special touches of blue and silver, happy faces and warm hearts. It was a treasure of a day, and a joy to be a part of.
