Every wedding day feels long awaited, but this particular day was exceptionally long awaited! We were so happy to (finally!) be able to host Veronica and Nathan’s beautiful wedding reception on the last day of July! It was the perfect way to close out one of our favorite wedding months and the perfect weather too, with a high of only 82 degrees! This sweet bride and groom had to change their original wedding plans multiple times due to the covid pandemic. They chose to marry privately earlier this year and then held a lovely reception with us to celebrate their union with family and friends. Veronica chose my favorite shade of green (Clover!) along with ivory lace linens to create a welcoming, calming and celebratory ceremony space. Touches of peach added a light an airy summertime feel, and tiny jars of honey favors for each guest shone from every place setting. This wonderful celebration included a trip to Skyline Drive for some lovely and epic mountain photos, a delicious dinner served by Taste catering, and some very fine moves on the dance floor! Our stunning bride Veronica wore a gown handmade by her mother, who meticulously stitched and crafted each detail over the course of two years. The love and effort that went into this special day was evident everywhere we turned, from the floral arrangements clipped from the family garden, to the heirloom cake topper passed down through generations, to the cheerful jars of pink lemonade that greeted guests at the door – every detail was heartfelt and lovely. The couple themselves are just too wonderful for words, so gracious, so fun to talk to and so wonderfully in love with each other. I enjoyed our conversations on the trip to the mountain so much, and miss them bunches already. I am so excited to share some favorite images from this incredible celebration…
Congratulations to the happy couple!
