I love seeing the special items couples bring with them on their wedding day!  When each couple arrives we help them unpack their carefully wrapped treasures, pulled from boxes, bags and suitcases.  So when we unpacked Funko Pops of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry …I just knew it was going to be a fun day!  Meghan and Jeff traveled all the way from Indiana to be married with us (and I suppose Meghan and Harry came all the way from London :-).  I loved how this fantastic couple added little touches of fun and whimsy to their special day.  From the Royal cake topper, to our Groom Jeff’s perfect wedding socks, to a facetime session in the bathroom, between Meghan and her mom, for makeup advice, there was lots of fun, laughter and love.  Meghan and Jeff added on our wedding cinematography package (a gift from Meghan’s mom!).   It is always so much fun when we are creating a wedding film for our couples because it gives us a chance to get to know them even better!  I loved be a part of the on camera interviews we did prior to the wedding ceremony, and hearing our bride and groom each recount their first date, and the love story that followed!  “What drew you to Meghan?” we asked Jeff, and his face lit up in the biggest grin and he said right away – “oh, definitely her smile!”.  It is such a privilege to share such special days, and capture such special memories with and for our couples!  One of the best parts of an early April wedding, is that our weeping cherry tree is filled with white flowers.  When Meghan sat down in front of the tree, she simply glowed!  I am so excited for you to see a little sneak peek of this gorgeous day…

The way he looks at her!

We had a Royally good time in the mountains…Prince Harry and Meghan Markle came with us!

Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. from the entire GHI family!

-xoxo Heather
