“Hi mom, what are you up to?….Well, Jessica and I just got married!”…after cake and champagne were enjoyed, a flurry of sweet phone calls followed Jessica and Erik’s romantic November elopement. For months they had planned a special day just for the two of them, and now it was time to share the big news! It was fun to hear the joyful delight expressed by family, and I know they’ll be eager to see some of the wonderful moments from our bride and groom’s special day! And although absent physically, each special family member was present in spirit, thanks to a gorgeous “family tree” wood carving that Jessica made sure had a place of honor on the Sweetheart’s table <3 Jessica also brought with her a very sweet “something blue” – the symphony ticket from their very first date – what a wonderful keepsake! Jessica was a stunning bride (I thought she looked like a beautiful Jane Austen heroine!) and game enough to tromp through the fields in her gorgeous gown! We had a perfectly timed break from the rain and these two adventurous souls helped me make the most of it to get some wonderful photos! I am so excited to share some favorite images of this wonderful wedding day – the perfect end to our busy fall wedding season.
Congratulations to the newlyweds!
