Sweet Sunflower Wedding Lauren & Robert 4.2.22

We shared the sweetest, brightest, most cheerful, joy filled day with Lauren and Robert on their April 2, 2022 wedding day! Lauren had a wonderful, clear vision of what she wanted when she came to her planning meeting with us…and it was so much fun to see her ideas for a sunflower filled, blue and yellow wedding day come to life! There were sunflowers peeking out from every corner of the Golden Horseshoe Inn. From the centerpieces, to the wedding cake, to the personalized sunflower seed wedding favors, the vibrant yellow blooms added the most cheerful vibes to the reception space. Upstairs, Lauren enjoyed hair and makeup and some special time with her mom, as they prepared for the day ahead. She wore her hair in the most beautiful textured braid, and was simply stunning in her lace gown and long veil. Her sweet groom Robert arrived a little later in the day, and he came with a few surprises up his sleeve, the biggest of which was a special surprise song that he performed for his bride during the wedding ceremony. Trust me when I say that Robert has a country-music-hall-of-fame type voice – absolutely gorgeous, and his emotional rendition of Millionaire, left not a dry eye amongst the assembled guests. After that lovely outdoor ceremony, we headed up the mountain for some epic mountain top photos, before rejoining the group for family photos and a fantastic dinner catered by our favorite folks at Mission BBQ. Heartfelt toasts, cheerful celebration, and one more special song from the Groom during the sparkler send off (at the urging of his guests!), made for the most wonderful wedding day. We were so glad to be a part of the joining of these two beautiful lives, and families, and I am so excited to share some favorite photos in this little sneak peek…
