Virginia Elopement Mary and Noah 4.3.22

We had the best day ever celebrating Mary and Noah’s long awaited wedding day! We first met this sweet couple waaaay back in 2019, and were so thrilled to be chosen to host their intimate elopement. Their wedding day was the most perfect spring day, with a bright blue sky and puffy white clouds sailing by on the breeze. Mary and her mom spent the morning in the bridal suite preparing for the big day, with their hair and makeup artist (who was also named Heather!…we ended up being Heather 1 and Heather 2 🙂 Mary looked SO gorgeous in her lacy gown, and I loved hearing the story about how she found her perfect dress! She got it from Church Street Bridal in Lynchburg, VA, which is a specialty store that sells sample gowns, with proceeds going to benefit victims of domestic violence…a lovely way to get a great deal on a gown AND help others. Here is what they say on their website:

“Sample gowns from full service salons, like Kleinfeld’s in New York and Jenny Yoo in New York/Chicago, are donated to Church Street Bridal. These gowns have been tried on by other brides, but have never been worn on a wedding day. Church Street Bridal does not accept donations of consigned or previously worn gowns.”

And that pretty much sums Mary right up, she was such a kind and thoughtful bride, with so much love in her heart. Her sweet groom Noah is her perfect match. He was so handsome in his wedding attire, and it was obvious how head over heels in love he is with his bride. After a beautiful outdoor ceremony, we took photos on the grounds, enjoyed time with the parents of the couple, and celebrated with cake and sparkling cider. After a fun bubble send off, the guests departed to a dinner reservation, and Mary, Noah and I headed up the mountain to take some incredible shots. The sky was absolutely PERFECT for mountain photos, and they are definitely some of the best of 2022! I am so excited to show you a little sneak peek from this absolutely lovely intimate wedding day…
