Sweetest Virginia Elopement – Hug and Tim 5.17.19

“I’ve brought a few things with me…” she said, reaching into a leather satchel and pulling out little boxes and treasures wrapped in tissue. “Once you see my garter, everything will make sense!” Hug told me excitedly, with a twinkle in her eye. And sure enough, as I carefully unwrapped her garter the following morning, it all made sense. A little bit vintage, a little bit rustic, a little bit whimsical. Pearls, lace, a pocket watch that really kept time! Her sweet, flowy wedding dress, her whimsical bouquet, and possibly the best wedding shoes I have ever seen! It was like the best game of wedding dress up! Hug and Tim were joined by their parents, and united in marriage by their pastor who performed a really lovely, personalized ceremony. It was such a sweet group of people, all united in happiness and celebration! Chocolate cake and Champagne were followed by photos on the mountain. It was truly a “picture perfect” day, with big puffy clouds giving us beautiful light and a little break from the first really warm day of May!
