Virginia Elopement Courtney and John 12.12.21

Courtney and John are the kind of couple you just instantly fall in love with. We planned their beautiful December elopement from a distance, over email, and when the big day arrived, we were so excited to finally meet them! The moment they walked through the door, we knew it was going to be a very wonderful day. These two just radiate joy, ease, and down to earth goodness. We walked through the venue together to make sure everything was set up as they had hoped, and it was fun to see Courtney’s reaction to her reception room 🙂 She and John had chosen a perfect winter palette of Hunter Green and Gold, and given us the guidance of “elegant but not stuffy”. Everything came together beautifully, and the Star Wars themed cake topper Courtney and John provided, added a little touch of fun! Courtney and John choose an indoor ceremony by the fireplace, and were joined by close family and friends, and taped the ceremony for family and friends who were cheering them on from afar. We enjoyed photos outdoors on a mild December afternoon, and then adjourned inside for toasts, cake and some special dances. When a wedding day concludes with a group sing-a-long of “Country Roads, Take Me Home”, well, you know it’s been a good day.
