Cailin and Hunter are high school sweethearts…as the sweet pillow they brought for the front parlor said “established in 2012”, and now in 2021, they have made it official. We were so excited to be a part of this very special wedding day! The venue glowed in flickering candlelight, crackling fireplaces, and the warm hues of navy, burgundy and gold. The reception room looked beautiful and so festive. I especially loved the lantern centerpieces, filled with sparkling Christmas ornaments, in a nod to the holiday season! Cailin was a gorgeous bride and wore a beautiful gown that her mother customized for her, and her bridesmaids looked festive in deep burgundy and carried unique wedding hoops in place of bridesmaid bouquets (you’ll get to see them below – so pretty!). Guests enjoyed a hot cocoa bar upon arrival, and were very gracious when we made a last minute decision to move the ceremony indoors due to rain. *Fun fact…Cailin and Hunter went to prom in the rain, and even got engaged in the rain, and so they simply shrugged and laughed off the weather as they got married with rain falling softly outside the windows on their big day. Prior to the ceremony, this sweet couple shared a “first look” and were able to take some wonderful mountain top photos, and this helped the whole day feel a little more relaxed and easy! In place of “guest book”, attendees got to write notes and advice for the newlyweds on vintage Christmas cards – each one was so pretty and I seeing all the nostalgic designs! A lovely dinner, delicious wedding cake, and dancing and merriment followed, before we capped off the evening with a sparkler send off. I am so excited to share a sneak peek of some favorite moments from this very merry day…
Congratulations to the happy couple!
