Virginia Elopement Kennedy and Ren 4.10.22

One of the benefits of working in the wedding industry is getting to meet a lot of incredible couples who have been lucky enough to find their soulmate. Sometimes it is just so apparent, and so breathtaking to witness, and this was what Kennedy and Ren’s wedding day was like. It was filled with so much love. This incredible couple has been planning their elopement with us for some time now, and it was so exciting to see the day finally arrive. And boy, did it arrive in style. Warm temperatures, golden light, a bright blue sky (that perfectly matched the wedding colors) peppered with fluffy white clouds. It was my favorite kind of day in every sense. Getting to spend time with Kennedy and Ren was a true delight. I loved seeing their final looks (both brides were simply GORGEOUS in their custom tailored suits) and witnessing the moment they each got to see one another during their “first look” prior to the ceremony beginning. There were definitely some tears streaming behind my camera as I photographed this beautiful ceremony. Kennedy and Ren chose to walk down the aisle hand in hand, and had each written personal vows to share with one another. The love that filled the room was tangible and overwhelming in its beauty. We enjoyed a relaxed time finding the best spots for photos in the mid day sun, and then adjourned indoors to celebrate with cake and sparkling cider (apple pie flavored!). The trip we took to the mountain was one of my favorites of the entire year. The sky was PERFECT and we were able to get some truly breathtaking photos.
