I just love December weddings! And our first wedding of the month, December 5th, 2020 did not disappoint! It was the most beautiful day to celebrate Devan and Keith’s wedding day. This wonderful couple gracefully navigated many obstacles in their wedding planning thanks to the pandemic, including having to decrease their guest count substantially to fit within the new executive order for group size. But the love and good cheer on their wedding day made it all worth it. Devan and Keith embraced the season, with their color scheme of Burgundy and Holly Green. There were delightful details throughout the wedding decor, including a chocolate lover’s dream of personalized candy bar favors and a hot cocoa station to welcome guests as they arrived. We also loved the beautiful hand lettered seating chart, handmade coatrack “guestbook” and the faux fur wrap that Devan brought for warmth during her photos. It came in VERY handy as we journeyed up the mountain and into a chilly December wind – but you would never know it from those photos – Devan and Keith were wedding superstars and did such a great job in the wind and chilly weather on Skyline Drive. After a delicious dinner catered by Blue Ridge Cafe, guests enjoyed Red Velvet cake, and dancing before sending off the couple during a glittering sparkler send off. I am so excited to share some favorite images from this festive, beautiful and intimate December wedding day…
