Taylor and Shelby’s beautiful Christmas inspired wedding was an absolutely perfect day! We just adored the sweet couple from the moment we met them. Shelby was so kind, thoughtful and easy going, and her Groom Taylor charmed the entire staff with his enthusiasm for the wedding day and his genuine excitement about this special celebration. These two looked absolutely stunning in their wedding attire. I just LOVED Shelby’s gown – gowns with sleeves are so unique, and the perfect fit for a chilly December day. Truth is…to all of our delight and surprise, it wasn’t even chilly! We had the most amazing weather, with temperatures in the low 60s, warm sun and a blue sky sprinkled with puffy white clouds – simply amazing! Shelby and Taylor embraced the colors of the season and still put their own twist on things, choosing a reception color scheme of Navy Blue and Burgundy. Christmas ornaments in gold were piled into our lanterns to make a festive and sparkly centerpiece for each guest table. And a personalized ornament awaited each guest as they arrived at their seat. There were even a few sprigs of mistletoe hanging throughout the venue – the prefect spot for a stolen kiss! When the day began, guests were greeted with a festive “Tis the Season to Be Married” sign, and a little wagon overflowing with evergreens as they approached the venue. Inside, an adorable hot cocoa station awaited them, complete with sprinkles and whipped cream 🙂 After a gorgeous ceremony in the afternoon warmth, we had time to take some incredible photos (my beautiful bride and her handsome groom were total naturals in front of the camera and we had so much fun!) on the grounds of the Golden Horseshoe Inn. Dinner was followed by cake and dancing, and although Shelby and Taylor didn’t do a formal “first dance”, I spied them enjoying a special dance together later in the evening, surrounded by the twinkling lights and lost in each others smile. I am so excited to show you a little sneak peek from this festive holiday wedding…
Congratulations to the happy couple!
