Virginia Micro Wedding Sara and Shandon 3.30.25

What a whimsical and wonderful wedding day we celebrated for our beautiful bride Sara and her handsome groom Shandon.  We had a perfect early spring day, with white and golden buds on the branches of the tress, and a soft warm breeze blowing down from the mountains.  Sara chose a whimsical and vintage tea party theme for her wedding day and I couldn’t have loved it more.  She brought special books as photo props, along with some antique treasures and I had the best time creating little vignettes for her detail and flat lay photos.  And once I moved on the people, it was even more magical.  Sara had two different weddings looks, one for ceremony and one for reception and both were just stunning.  The bridesmaids and groomsmen were resplendent in a mix and match floral look which added to the charm of the day.  The Itinerant band provided live music throughout the event with selections from Celtic and folk music traditions.  We were also excited to welcome back our favorite videographer Tilden Lexa from Lexa Visuals to help capture the day.  And we laughed and smiled until our mouths got tired.  It was a wonderful day and I am so excited to share some beautiful photos in a little sneak peek from Sara and Shandon’s Blue ridge mountains wedding day…

Congratulations to the newlyweds!

-xoxo Heather
