Virginia Micro Wedding Venue Emma and Devin 10.31.26

Are you ready for the sweetest wedding day love story? Our stunning bride Emma and her handsome groom Devin have been sweethearts since middle school! One of the many delightful items they incorporated into their wedding day decor were their school dance photos…so many homecomings and proms together…and now finally, their wedding day! It was simply the most perfect wedding day at the peak of the autumn color. Our couple made a happy little nod to their Halloween date with a “trick or treat” box of candy…some of which had rather surprising flavors (you had to eat one to see if you were going to get a “trick” piece or a “treat” piece! Another amazing wedding detail were the wedding flowers that were all hand crocheted by the bride, and assembled on a group crafting night prior to the wedding. It took Emma a full year to crochet all the boutquets and boutonnieres, and it was such a special detail. After a beautiful outdoor ceremony (officiated by the very aptly named “Reverend Golden” (really!) there was time for family photos, cake and tea, and even a few card games before the event concluded with a bubble send off (I overheard one of the grandmothers in attendance say to her companion “I feel like a kid again” as she happily blew her bubbles 🙂 As the guests departed, Emma and Devin and I took a little trip to Skyline drive for some of the prettiest mountain photos ever – everything you’ll see is real – no photoshop at all – it was simply magical. Days like this really bring home what an honor and privilege it is to witness such special love stories up close. I am so excited to share a wedding day sneak peek for Emma and Devin…
