We started off our 2024 wedding season with the sweetest couple – our beautiful bride Whitney and her handsome groom Jon. Whitney and Jon wanted to host a special, but understated day that didn’t feel full of pressure and wasn’t filled with a lot of attention on them. They came up with the perfect plan, to host a small private ceremony at Golden Horseshoe and then to join additional special friends and family later that evening for a more casual celebration at a local restaurant. We were so happy to be a part of this special day and to see it come together so beautifully (despite the rainy weather!). Whitney chose a color scheme of Copper, Ivory and Hunter Green for a rich, wintery feel. The venue looked so cozy and the fireplaces were crackling much to the delight of each guest who came in from the cold. We enjoyed a relaxed morning where our bride and groom spent time together and helped one another get ready. And Whitney decided to be more casual with her entrance, and enjoyed time with Jon greeting their guests as they arrived (this is such a fun way to be non-traditional, and to remove some of the tension and nerves ahead of the ceremony). A simple and sweet ceremony (I did not see many dry eyes in the gathered crowd) was followed by a tea style reception that included a first dance, cake cutting and light refreshments. We loved every minute of this special day, with this beautiful, kind and down to earth couple. I am so excited to share a sneak peek of some favorite photos from this special wedding day…
Congratulations to the newlyweds!
