6.3.23 Blue Ridge Wedding Rachel and Coral

Rachel and Coral celebrated the most beautiful wedding at the Golden Horseshoe Inn. It was a perfect summer day, with blue skies and puffy white clouds drifting lazily above us. Our two brides arrived together and then dressed and prepared separately, surprising each other with their final looks during a sweet “first look”. We headed up to the mountain top where we took some epic mountain photos and Rachel and Coral also shared personal vows for just one another. Back at the venue, things were looking vibrant and celebratory! Our brides chose a subtle travel theme for their wedding day, naming reception tables after some of their favorite travels together. Guests found their seat via a board of luggage tag wedding favors, which everyone loved. There was also a customized globe that served as a non-traditional “guest book” and tiny suitcase favors awaiting each guest at their seat. An outdoor ceremony ended with a visit by two wedding llama’s (yep, you read that right!) named Max and King. This was definitely a first for us here at the GHI, and the guests were intrigued with our distinguished (check out the top hat and floral necklace) visitors who were available for selfies. Autumn’s Custom Catering did a phenomenal job with passed hors d’oeuvres at cocktail hour and a delicious dinner to follow. Dessert included a wedding cake as well as a dessert table with cupcakes and cookies. Custom cocktails were available at the bar throughout the evening, also courtesy of ACC. Our brides did a wonderful job with their choreographed first dance, which delighted all the assembled guests on the back deck. And their send off in a cloud of bubbles was the perfect end to the day. It was a day to remember and I am so excited to share some favorite photos from this incredible wedding day…
