Intimate Virginia Wedding Allison & Vincent 9.5.20

Do you have a favorite combination of personality traits?  I do 🙂  Let me share… thoughtful, but carefree.  Funny, in a lighthearted way.  Not too serious, and not too silly, a somewhere happy medium between the two.  Beautiful on the inside.  Filled with love and memories, and an appreciation for the past, and an excitement for the future.  Those are my kind of people.  And those kind of people are Allison and Vince.  These two.  Oh, these two!  I got to spend not one, but TWO magical days with them this summer.  (You may remember this gorgeous duo from earlier in the summer when I shared their incredible Skyline Drive Engagement Photo shoot) and September 5th finally ushered in their wedding day.  These two just seem to bring their own kind of luck.  The weather was perfect, with a little touch of fall coolness in the morning and evening air.  Inside the Golden Horseshoe Inn, a calming color palette of Clover Green and Ivory was ready to greet guests.  An adorable cake topper announced “We Swiped Right” and perched atop the wedding cake, adding Vince and Allison’s trademark sense of fun and lightheartedness to the decor.  Beautiful potted succulents (borrowed from a friend) served as unique centerpieces.  Allison had a keepsake wedding certificate handmade on etsy, and if you look closely, you’ll find a tiny golden horseshoe hidden in the flowers – I just loved this special touch!  After a moving ceremony with personalized vows, we took one last journey to skyline drive together for some mountain photos.  After dinner and dancing and of course cake (!) the couple was sent off amidst the glow of sparklers on the front porch.  It was the most incredible day for the most incredible couple.  I am so excited to share some favorite images from Allison and Vince’s wedding day…

Congratulations to the newlyweds!

-xoxo Heather
