Skyline Drive Engagement Session – Allison and Vince

One of the unexpected gifts of the current pandemic has been the gift of more time! I just love photographing engagement sessions, but my busy wedding schedule means they can be really hard to fit in. Which is why I had just the best time ever roaming through the mountains with Allison and Vince. A week beforehand we had to reschedule our session due to a really rainy forecast. We were all disappointed, but the following week proved to be sunny and gorgeous, and worth waiting for! Allison and Vince will be married at the Golden Horseshoe Inn in September, and they are the sweetest most down to earth couple, who confided they were a little nervous to be in front of the camera, and thought an engagement session would help them prepare for wedding day photos. We climbed through weeds, and over (Allison and Vince!) and under (me!) a fallen log blocking our path to reach some of my favorite spots on Skyline Drive.
