Virginia Vow Renewal Venue Lisa & Brian 6.26.20

Lisa and Brian were wedding guests at the Golden Horseshoe Inn waaaay back in 2014. Somewhere in the back of their minds, they tucked us away as a sweet spot to renew their vows when the time came to celebrate a milestone anniversary. And luckily for us, their beautiful 10 year anniversary vow renewal ceremony took place on June 26, 2020. It was so much fun to plan this special day with Lisa. Her emails are like opening up a little ray of sunshine…always sprinkled with sweet words and thoughtful ideas. Her vision of a relaxed, yet elegant, bohemian styled event was brought to life with a loose and flowy wildflower bouquet, a perfect cake for two popping out of a vintage suitcase, and a dress that was both ethereal and stunning! There are no two ways about it, Lisa was the most beautiful bride. Watching her walk down the forest path, surrounded by towering trees and a soft breeze rustling her dress, felt like watching some magical movie. I know I’m gushing a little but it was a truly beautiful day, spent with an absolutely amazing couple. Brian and I enjoyed chatting about photography, and I am nominating him as the new travel spokesman for the Badlands of South Dakota…as our talk of landscape photos veered into his favorite destinations, and listening him eloquently describe the magical sights he has seen…well lets just say I’ve added a few entries to my bucket list! After a very sweet vow renewal ceremony we cooled down with sweet tea before heading outside for some photos on the grounds. After a laughter filled cake cutting and toast, it was time to head to the mountains and take some gorgeous blue ridge mountains wedding photos.
