Nicole and Zachary were one of the very last couples who were able to book one of our fall wedding dates before our 2020 calendar completely filled. And we are so happy they did! We shared a wonderful, private wedding day with this happy couple and their close family. By coincidence, our bride and groom each have an adorable 2 year old sister (in Zach’s case two beautiful baby sisters), so we had the best flower girls ever…and our aisle runner was overflowing with petals! We loved seeing this close family spend time together, and all the love shared between them. Nicole prepared in the morning with her mom, and the gentlemen and groom’s family arrived a little later. Nicole opted to bring her own flowers, including a silk bouquet to carry, and several boxes of beautiful fabric flowers for us to use in decorating the cake, aisle and sweethearts table. Her wish for an Elegant – Rustic feel for her wedding day was our command, and we had fun pulling out our wooden and burlap accent pieces and creating a warm and inviting Sweetheart’s table for our bride and groom. Following an outdoor ceremony, we enjoyed the cool fall air and photos on the grounds of the Golden Horseshoe Inn. Zach and Nicole were just beautiful in their wedding attire and so much fun to photograph! After cake, and champagne (enjoyed in the unique personalized glasses that the couple provided) Zach and Nicole shared a sweet first dance. Nicole had the most perfect dress for twirling, and the mountain top seemed just the place to do it! Although the holiday weekend meant that Skyline Drive was pretty busy, we still found some beautiful spots for photos, and all the passer’s by and tourists enjoying the views were thrilled to get to see such a beautiful bride and groom – there were many “congratulations” honks from passing cars and well wishes from everyone we met! It was a beautiful day in every way, and I am so excited to share some favorite images in this wedding day sneak peek…
Congratulations to the happy couple!
